Casting Calls - The Samaritan

The Samaritan

Comedy Skits For A Mobile Gaming App

Sketch $150/hour Man, Woman, Non-Binary Person, Trans Man, Trans Woman 21 - 28 Non Union Principal 05/01/2026 Los Angeles

About the Job

The Samaritan is the audience reaction character in the aisle — the person who rounds the corner just as the cash hits the floor and immediately goes into helpful-stranger mode. Their job is to be genuinely, expressively bewildered without being over the top. The Samaritan's face does most of the work in the aisle scene. Personality: Helpful, expressive, a little gobsmacked. The Samaritan sincerely wants to help return the wallet — and is progressively more confused by everything that follows. Their 'Are you, like, famous?' line is the spot's funniest non-sequitur and must land as a genuine, baffled reaction, not a punchline delivery. Physical look: Casual, unremarkable. A normal person doing their grocery shopping who got pulled into something strange.
